Why is the Business plan the most popular choice?+
500 minutes covers roughly 8 hours of call time per month — enough for a small team handling daily client enquiries without watching the clock. Priority support is the other big reason customers choose Business over Starter: if your phone line has an issue, you go to the front of the support queue.
Can multiple people in my team use the same number?+
Every Hopetel plan, including Pro, provides one set of SIP credentials — one active call at a time. Hopetel plans do not include multi-extension or PBX functionality. If several team members need to handle calls, the simplest approach is a separate Hopetel line per person. You can also use call forwarding on the Business plan to redirect missed calls to a second mobile number as a basic fallback.
What does priority support mean in practice?+
Business plan customers have a dedicated priority support queue. Tickets are escalated ahead of Starter plan enquiries with a target response time under 4 hours during business hours (Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00 SAST). For after-hours critical faults, an emergency contact channel is available to Business and Pro customers.
Can I downgrade to Starter or upgrade to Pro at any time?+
Yes. Plan changes take effect from your next billing date. Your phone number and SIP credentials stay the same regardless of which plan you're on. There are no fees for changing plans.
Does the Business plan work with a PBX or IVR system?+
Yes. We provide standard SIP credentials compatible with most SIP-based PBX systems including FreePBX, 3CX and Yeastar. You can configure an IVR through your PBX software. The Pro plan is recommended for PBX setups that need multiple simultaneous call channels.
