How long does setup take?+
A new number is usually active within one business day. You receive SIP credentials to sign in to a softphone app or desk phone, and you can start making and taking calls straight away.
Do I need special hardware?+
No. Hopetel works on any SIP-compatible softphone app on a phone, laptop or tablet, so you can start with no hardware at all. If you prefer physical desk phones, we stock those as optional add-ons, but they are not required.
What happens if I go over my included minutes?+
Calls continue beyond your included minutes and are billed per second at our standard rate — nothing is cut off mid-call. If you regularly exceed your bundle, moving up a plan usually works out cheaper.
Can I add extensions later?+
Yes. You can add SIP extensions for extra team members at any time from your online portal, or ask our support team to set them up for you. You are never locked into a fixed seat count.
Which area codes can I choose?+
