The East London business landscape behind the 043 code
East London hosts an automotive plant, the Buffalo City industrial zone and a working port, plus the provincial commercial trade serving the surrounding Eastern Cape.
Within the 043 footprint, the commercial activity concentrates around Berea, Vincent, the Wilsonia industrial area and Mdantsane.
A business advertising a 043 number is read by local customers as being part of that
economy rather than a national call centre.
